We're reading the labels for you! Here are all the Dang snacks you can enjoy if you're following a diet or strict eating routine.

Whole30

“I’m doing Whole30” says your friend who’s always one step ahead of the trend. She’s on a cooking kick, but is missing some of the niceties of non-whole foods, like the granola that used to top her morning smoothie bowl.

Whole30 is a 30 day whole food based diet. It focuses on nourishing the body with products straight out of nature (or relatively close).  To maintain this diet, one must cut out added sugars, processed foods and grains, legumes, soy and dairy products. The diet is described as a way to cleanse the system and rid ourselves of the imbalances and negative health effects of processed foods.

Foods allowed on the diet are pretty much anything you could find without a package in a grocery store: vegetables, fruits, meat and fish, seeds, nuts and eggs. Whole30 keeps healthy fats in the rotation, including coconut oil. Coconut oil is naturally high in medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) and thankfully for you, coconut oil is present in all Dang Coconut Chips.

If You’re Whole30, You Should Try Our:

Dang Lightly Salted Coconut Chips

-No added sugar makes them a Whole30 approved snack.
-They’re Non GMO, Gluten Free and Vegan.
-They only have 2 ingredients: Coconut and Sea Salt.

Available at Safeway, Kroger, Whole Foods, Sprout’s, Stop & Shop, Giant, Big Y

Paleo

Did you say you like to hunt and gather? No? Well, lucky for you the Paleo diet simulates the caveman experience without the difficulty of spending days scouting out your next meal source. Thank goodness we have grocery stores with Paleo friendly products for people just like you!

In essence, the Paleo diet strictly consists of food sources that were available to humans millions of years ago. Like Whole30, it also focuses on cutting out ultra-processed foods, which carry tons of empty calories. The Paleo diet encourages eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, but gives some room for you to indulge every once in a while. Even cavemen and women had sweet tooths.

One of the natural sweeteners allowed while on Paleo is coconut sugar. Coconut sugar has a low glycemic index and is made from the sap of the coconut palm. Well our inventive paleolithic ancestors found something delicious, and guess what! We use Paleo friendly coconut sugar as the only sweetener in our Caramel Sea Salt Coconut Chips.

If You’re Paleo, You Should Try Our:

Dang Caramel Sea Salt Coconut Chips

-Coconut sugar makes them Paleo approved.
-They’re Non GMO, Gluten Free and Vegan.

-They only have 3 ingredients: Coconut, Coconut Sugar and Sea Salt.

Ketogenic Diet

Oh Keto, what a diet! As a staff favorite over here at Dang HQ, we staged a 30-day Keto challenge in the office. We were so inspired by our cravings for a delicious Keto friendly bar that we created our high-fat, plant based Dang Bar and we think it’s Dang good! Enough about that, today is about you and your coconut chips (but you should also try our bar, it’s available for preorder here).

Since you’re on Keto, meals are based around meats, poultry, fish, eggs, high-fat dairy and healthy fats. You’ll be pleased to know our Lightly Salted Coconut Chips are Keto friendly and naturally contain coconut oil, a healthy fat. These little crispy chips of toasted coconut have no added sugar (!!) so you’re in the clear for a coconutty snack that won’t break your macro bank.

Low Carb

Low Carb diets are a long-followed eating regimen that seek to limit the intake of carbohydrates by cutting out foods like sweets, pasta and bread. Low Carb diets tend to be centered around weight loss, with carb-dense foods being replaced by choices rich in protein and fats. We know dieting can be rough, especially if you’re a snack fiend like us Dangsters, but we have a coconut chip just for you!

Coconut is naturally rich in healthy fats and lower in carbs than other sweet snacks like fruit and granola. If your Low Carb diet is an aid to your weight loss plan, why not add a little extra boost for the metabolism? Studies have shown that adding cocoa powder to your diet can improve the body’s ability to metabolize fat and use it as energy. That means extra fat-burning potential and less of it sticking around in places you’d rather it not.

If You’re Low Carb, You Should Try Our:

Dang Chocolate Sea Salt Coconut Chips

-They’re rich in healthy fats.
-Cocoa powder has antioxidants and fat burning potential.
-A serving has as much fiber and less sugar than an apple.

-They’re a Non GMO, Gluten Free and Vegan low carb snack.

Available at Giant, Stop & Shop, Market Basket, Dierbergs, Earth Fare, Earth Origins

Gluten Free

It’s your turn, gluten free babes! Eating a gluten free diet can improve health, aid in weight loss and increase your energy. Who needs that pesky protein anyway? You’ll fit right in with our array of Gluten Free snacks, so why not try them all? Going vegan means you get to be more creative with how you eat and get all the nutrients your body needs for life. That means mixing and matching a bunch of yummy foods in your meals. Ever seen those colorful and incredibly artistic smoothie bowls on Instagram? Well, hot dang! That’s what vegans eat.
